When I was a little kid, I used to watch my dad come home from hunting, so
excited about the deer he had harvested that night. When my Dad saw my
excitement over his hunting experiences, he bought me a pellet gun. I ran all over
the neighborhood keeping the local squirrel and bird population in check, but
couldn't wait to go deer hunting. At the age of 11, my Dad took me with him deer
hunting. That first year I with him in the woods, I was learning from him, watching
his skills and practicing on mine own skills. The following year, with my single shot
20 gauge with open sights in hand, I was finally able to hit the woods. It only took
me a few outings and I had my first deer on the ground, a spike.
A few years later, I picked up my first bow and since that day my passion for bow
hunting has grown immensely. With the longer season and increased bag limits,
my love and obsession for the outdoors sky rocketed. At the age of 25, I shot my
first Pope & Young with a bow.
At the age of 26, I was introduced to the Outdoor Filming Industry. A year later, I
partnered up with Gordon Griffith and No Limits Outdoors was created. This
experience has been amazing. I have met and hunted with some great hunters.
To have the opportunity to video another hunter harvest an animal and to see
their excitement about the experience is priceless. I get just as excited for them
as if it were my own hunt.
I have recently been able to share my passion for the outdoors with my wife
Wendy. We have 2 children, Hailey and Jack. I can already see it in their eyes,
they are just as excited as I was as a kid to see my Dad come home with his deer.
I can't wait to be able to take them into the woods for their first hunt.
