At a young age I made my first trip to the woods.  Not to hunt, so to speak, but to
go on a scouting trip with my father and my uncles. This was the yearly trip to find
out where to put stands for the upcoming shotgun season.  This is where the
passion was born. Hooked right away, I began learning the way of the whitetail
woods.  I was fortunate to have a very good teacher in my father.

As the years progressed, not missing any of the yearly scouting trips, I was then
asked to participate in the hunt that year.  This was when the hunter was born.
For the next couple of years I would accompany my father and uncles to the woods
for the shotgun season.  This was also a learning phase in my hunting career.

After sitting with my father a couple of years I was finally allowed to hunt on my
own not far from my father.  My first four or five years of deer hunting were rough
to say the least.  After many miscues I finally shot my first deer.  The wait was over
I had finally joined the big boys.

Since then my hunting has taken many different paths including waterfowl,
turkey, and sika deer.  In the past couple of years it has taken on a new aspect.
Filming the hunt has been a great experience.  Allowing me to spend time with my
brother, and share the hunt with everyone has been great.  I would like to thank
my girlfriend, Michelle, for being so understanding in the pursuit of this newfound
passion.  And to all I wish you the best of luck in the upcoming season and
seasons.
