I started hunting at the age of 12 when my dad bought me my first bow. We would
spend countless hours shooting at a paper plate on a straw bale before he would
let me hunt. Although I never actually arrowed a deer that year, the excitement I
had experienced was incredible.
At the age of 14 I shot my first buck! It was a 130 inch 11 point on opening day of
gun season. The following year came my first archery buck, a seven point. I was
hooked!
When I was 17 I had saved up enough money to buy a video camera and my best
friend and I started taping our hunts. Our first night out produced some shaky
footage of a doe kill, but none the less I was in love. To be able to bottle up the
excitement of a hunt, and re-live it over and over again is some thing that I truly
cherish. I have had the privilege to film three kids take their first deer and can't
wait to take my own kids along.
I don't get paid for this, nor do I need to. I have a passion for the art of hunting
and will continue to share it as long as I'm able to. No Limits Outdoors is a great
group of men and women and I'm proud to be part of it.
