November:
The Rut - Stay on Those Does!
The rut is on! Every moment possible that you spend in
the woods is one step closer to harvesting that big buck.
is no rest for the weary at this point.

The most important thing to look for is fresh ground
scrapes where the doe and buck trails meet because that
shows that your buck is still active in that area. Don't
get frustrated -- stay on those big groups of does that
you were watching in the early season. Remember, does are
only in heat for 36 hours. If you notice that a buck is
chasing one of your does, hunt relentlessly! You can bet
that she will not leave her core area and it is only a
matter of time before she brings the buck in close enough
to shoot.

Good Luck,
